Established in 1851, Cross Creek Baptist Church stands at the heart of the Indian Mound community in Stewart County, Tennessee. As a proud member of the JST Baptist Association, our church is built on a foundation of strong love for one another, our community, and the Lord.

I’m so glad you stopped by. My name is Eric Drake, and I’ve had the joy of being married to my wife, Kerry, for 27 years. Together, we’ve raised five amazing kids, and we’re excited to welcome our first grandbaby this October!

For over 27 years, I’ve served in ministry—as a pastor, youth pastor, and character coach in local high schools and colleges. Through every season, one calling has remained clear: to share the hope of Jesus and help build a community where people of every generation can belong, grow, and serve.

Whether you’re just beginning to explore faith, returning after some time away, or have walked with Christ for decades—there’s a place for you here at Cross Creek Baptist Church. We’re a multigenerational family of believers learning from one another, worshiping together, and living out our faith as the hands and feet of Jesus.
